  • ACCOUNTING CLERK - DALLAS

    Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams, Inc. (WJHW), a nationally recognized design and consulting firm, has an opening for an individual with experience in Accounting-Administration in an A/E environment.

    Responsibilities:

    This position involves a collaborative working relationship with other members of our accounting department and interaction with Production Personnel and the Controller. The successful applicant should possess strong communication, organization and time management skills.

    Duties Include:

    • Project billings and analysis
    • New project setups
    • Contract review for accounting related issues
    • Expense report review
    • AR/AP backup
    • Receptionist backup

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of accounting experience in an A/E or Consultant firm
    • Deltek Vision or similar accounting/project management software experience required
    • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel)
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Capable of prioritizing duties in order to meet deadlines
    • Good attention to detail
    • Experience in administration, a plus
    • College degree, a plus

  • ACOUSTICAL TECHNICIAN (entry level) - DALLAS

    Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams, Inc. (WJHW), a nationally recognized design and consulting firm, has an opening for an acoustical technician.

    Responsibilities:

    • Site/field acoustical testing/monitoring
    • Maintaining testing equipment, calibrations, and repair records
    • Providing support for consultants and designers
    • Producing reports and spreadsheets related to acoustical testing and directed prediction calculations
    • Creating and performing acoustical analyses utilizing prediction software (SoundPlan, CATT Acoustics, and INSUL)
    • Preparation of reports, as necessary

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Basic understanding of acoustics and general acoustical terms (e.g. Reverberation Time, Sound Transmission Class, dB/dBA, etc.)
    • Background in acoustical testing methods/procedures, a plus
    • Experience with MS Word and Excel
    • Familiarity and previous use of AutoCAD and Revit, a plus
    • A degree in Architecture, or other audio related field, a plus

    The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a group of acoustical consultants and technical systems designers on a variety of projects, including sports venues, education, corporate office, civic buildings and environmental. The position includes the development and implementation of acoustical design, as well as, testing/analysis/modeling of acoustic systems.
